Daniel Berghout's ACCLAMATIONS!, a triumphant mixed-meter setting of the hymn tune CORONATION, boldly proclaims the text of the hymn "Jehovah, Lord of Heaven and Earth."

The composition, a response to the sudden death of a close friend, was inspired by a passage from a prayer recorded in 1836: 

". . . help us by the power of thy Spirit, that we may mingle our voices with those bright, shining seraphs around thy throne, with acclamations of praise, singing Hosanna to God and the Lamb!"
