A simple variation on the hymn tune is followed by a more contrapuntal setting with the cantus firmus in the pedal, and the piece ends with a return to the opening material. The whole piece is in trio texture (two voices on the manual and one in the pedal). Part of Chamberlin?s ongoing effort to create "an organ piece for every hymn in the book."
